Positive Ways To Start Your Day Along with Fajr

Being an optimist is what we all strive to be. Because who wants to be that negative Nancy in the room? I’m sure you don’t, and I sure don’t either.
Some habits help one break the practice of negative thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors that counter-productivity. The best implementation of this is when you involve fajr in it. Here are some small tips to help keep you upbeat at the start of your day.
First things first, fajr prayer. Fajr prayer gives us the ability to start the day off under the protection of Allah, to connect with Allah swt, and to pour our heart and energy out into our prayers and duaas. From then on, you feel lighter and the weight of the Dunya is off you. This makes it easier for one to stay positive throughout the day no matter what.
Excercise. Going for a jog or doing a pilates type at-home, online class right after you prayed fajr is the best way to get those endorphins running through your body, which helps boost your mood and energy levels.
Journal or plan. Write in your planner or journal affirmations and positive goals and dreams you have. Stick to those. And check on them everyone once in a while to help keep yourself consistent and on track to having a positive attitude towards life whenever you feel negative or moody.
Of course, it’s understandable that no one is positive 100% of the time. We all have our off-days. But incorporating these tips with the spiritual benefits of Fajr prayer will help make it easier to steer away from negative thoughts and behaviors.
